A Half-Day Wellbeing Retreat
For Men & Women Over 40
Move, Breathe & Reset is a half-day wellbeing retreat designed to support energy, clarity and confidence through movement, breath and reflection.
Created for men and women over 40, this experience offers time for you — without switching off from your body or life. Through functional movement and guided, conscious connected breathwork, you’ll explore ways to move and breathe that feel empowering and support longevity, resilience and long-term wellbeing.
This is not about pushing harder or doing less — it’s about moving well and reconnecting with your body and breath… so you leave feeling more grounded, capable and fabulous over 40:)

WHAT TO EXPECT
WELCOME & TEA (30 minutes)
We’ll begin by settling in together with tea and gentle connection — an invitation to arrive fully in the space and leave the outside world behind for the next few hours.
MOVEMENT FOR LONGEVITY CLASS (60 minutes)
A supportive yet energising movement session focused on lymphatic flow, strength, mobility, balance and functional movement.
Expect a mix of steady, controlled work and more dynamic sequences designed to:
build strength without overloading joints
support connective tissue health
improve balance and confidence
promote long-term mobility and vitality
Options are offered throughout, allowing you to work at a level that feels appropriate for your body. You will take home a short 10-15 minute workout that will fit seamlessly into your schedule and be more beneficial that a one hour smashing your body at the gym!
CONSCIOUS CONNECTED BREAKWORK (60 minutes)
Conscious Connected breathwork is a powerful practice that involves intentionally controlling an gradually deepening your breath in a rhythmic pattern. It is “conscious” because we are consciously controlling it and “connected” because there is no pause between the inhale and exhale.
This style of breathwork builds intensity gradually before guiding you into deep relaxation, allowing the nervous system to release stored tension and shift into a more regulated state.
Participants often experience:
Increased energy, clarity and presence
An emotional release
A profound sense of calm and groundedness
Breathwork is offered in a choice-based and supportive way, with guidance to stay connected to your body throughout. You are always encouraged to adjust, pause or rest as needed.
No prior breathwork experience is required.
REFLECTION & INTEGRATION (30 minutes)
We’ll finish with guided reflection and space to integrate the morning — through journaling, quiet time or optional sharing.
NOURISH BOWL & CLOSE (60 minutes)
We’ll close the morning together with a healthy delicious nourishing bowl and relaxed conversation before heading back into the day.
OPTIONAL: SAUNA, COLD PLUNGE & SHOWER
For those who’d like, there is the option to a the sauna, cold plunge just outside the studio. This is completely optional and offered as a gentle extension of your experience.

This retreat is facilitated by Chrissy Barrett, founder of Fab Over 40 Wellbeing.
Chrissy brings over 30 years of experience across movement, wellbeing, retreats and facilitation and is known for creating inclusive, supportive spaces where confidence grows through connection rather than pressure.

Comfortable clothing you can move in, a water bottle, and anything else that helps you feel comfortable (e.g. a light jumper or journal). Yoga mats and props will be provided.
