The conscious connected breathwork part of the afternoon will be around one hour in length from 3.30pm.

Our afternoon will wrap up with another cup of tea and discussion about our experience. We will finish around 5pm.
Curious about breathwork but never tried it?
This is a detailed introduction for anyone who’s wondered what breathwork actually feels like. Breathwork is a guided, active experience that uses your breath to help shift your physical, mental and emotional state.
It’s different to meditation as you don’t need a quiet mind. If you do have a busy brain and a busy life, beathwork can be surprisingly accessible.
DATES: SAT 5TH SEP & SAT 5TH DECEMBER

Not at all. This session is designed especially for people who are curious about breathwork but have never tried it before. If you've experienced breathwork previously, you're welcome too.
-
While breathwork is a powerful tool for well-being, the active Conscious Connected Breathing (CCB) method is not suitable for individuals with certain medical or psychological conditions. Your safety is my absolute priority, which is why all participants are required to complete a health screening before joining a session.
-
If CCB isn't the right fit for you due to a specific health condition, we can often adapt the session using gentle, parasympathetic-focused breathing. This allows you to still enjoy a beautiful, regulated and supportive experience that works with your nervous system rather than overriding it.
-
Please review the list of contraindications. If you have any concerns or specific health conditions, please get in touch on Hello@fabover40wellbeing.com before booking so we can discuss the best way to support you.

No. While both can help you slow down and reconnect with yourself, breathwork is a guided and active experience. You don't need to sit still with a quiet mind or be "good" at meditation. In fact, people with busy minds often find breathwork surprisingly accessible.
-
We'll begin with a welcome tea and some time to connect before moving into a guided breathwork experience. Afterwards, we'll take time to rest, check in and notice how you're feeling. You don't need to prepare anything — just come as you are.
-
Everything you require for the breathwork session is provided at Driftwood Studio.
However, you may also like to bring a drink bottle, small pillow, your favourite blanket and a journal (if you enjoy reflecting afterwards).
-
Wear comfortable clothing that is loose around your chest and stomach so you can breathe freely and not feel restricted.
